Weather update: Wednesday December 30th 5am
Happy New Year’s Eve! Warmer air is pushing in at the upper levels and it is also bringing some high cloud into parts of our region. Our surface temperatures will also be milder starting today, although we will continue to stay below seasonal for a few more days.
Lower level clouds will also form near lakes so expect clouds with sunny breaks today and Thursday.
Conditions will stay dry until closer to the weekend when we switch from a northerly flow to a westerly flow, and a system will push in from the northwest on Friday bringing the possibility of snow for the weekend.
See you at 5, 6:30 and 11pm tonight!
Today’s daytime high range: -9 to -4C
