Impaired driving charge for woman after crash with trailer

SASKATOON – A 26-year-old woman is facing an impaired driving charge after the vehicle she was operating struck a trailer in Saskatoon’s Evergreen neighbourhood Friday evening. Officers were called to the area of Manek Road and Evergreen Boulevard just after 9:15 p.m.

Investigators say the driver of the northbound vehicle lost control and collided with a trailer that was parked along the curb. Both the trailer and the vehicle were significantly damaged. The construction-type trailer was not occupied at the time of the crash.

The woman did not require medical attention. She is scheduled to appear in provincial court in February.
