Do you censor the animated films your kids are watching? A new study in the Christmas edition of the British Medical journal suggests that perhaps, you should.

The study, called “Cartoons Kill” suggests that childrens’ animated movies can be just as filled with murder and mayhem as adult movies, and can traumatize children who may not be prepared for characters dying. It also found that the death rate is higher in animated films, and it is five times more likely that the victim is a parent.
