Another dose of snow to hit Saskatchewan Thursday/Friday before arctic air settles in. SkyTracker Weather

Another dose of snow is slated to slide its way across the prairies Thursday and Friday. Last weekend, central Saskatchewan was pummeled with an Alberta Clipper system.

The incoming pacific frontal system will first bring heavy snowfall to parts of central Alberta Wednesday night, before spreading into Saskatchewan Thursday.

The first band of snow is projected to push its way into southwestern and west-central areas of the province early Thursday morning with lighter patches of snow starting in Regina early in the day and heavier snow falling later in the evening.

Regina should see around 15 centimeters of snow fall on Thursday with the area seeing another 4 centimeters falling by Friday.

As the second, more intense impulse of moisture moves in early Friday, winds will pick up across the region and reduce visibility on roads.
