SASKATOON – The Prince Albert Raiders have benched their new Arabian mascot after unveiling him at a home game on Nov. 14.

“Boston Raider” will no longer be at home games until further notice, according to the team’s website. The Western Hockey League (WHL) team is considering feedback that the Arabian raider mascot plays into possible discrimination and may be offensive to Middle Eastern people.
