Okanagan Forecast:  Snow/Rain On and Off

Weather update: Friday November 20th 4:15pm

Hellooooo weekend!  Mother Nature kicks off our weekend with a system that will bring rain and snow to the Southern Interior Friday night and Saturday morning.  Freezing levels are close to 1000m so areas by the lake will likely see rain, but if you are travelling on high elevations, expect snowy conditions.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

There will be partial clearing Saturday afternoon and we may even see a couple sunny breaks, but then another disturbance will bring the chance of rain or snow to the area Sunday.

There is some uncertainty about next week. We are expecting an unsettled weather pattern for the first half of next week, but the weather models are conflicting about precipitation amounts.

We are taking some time off over the next couple of weeks, so we won’t be updating the weather on a regular basis again until Dec 8th.  Have a great weekend, and we always appreciate your interest in our weather postings! Talk to you next month.
