WINNIPEG – Police say 94-year-old Bessie Johnson, who went missing Sunday afternoon, has been found.
Johnson was gone overnight as temperatures dropped to -13 C with snow on the ground in Winnipeg.
Johnson, four-foot-10 and 90 to 95 pounds, with a thin build and short, grey hair, uses a cane. She had been seen at 4 p.m. walking east over the Chief Peguis Bridge.
Police sent out a news release just before 9:30 a.m. Monday saying she’d been found.
