Man, 74, struck in Dartmouth crosswalk on Friday dies from injuries

HALIFAX – Police say a man who was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street in Dartmouth on Friday has died.

William C. Lee, 74, of Dartmouth was struck while in a crosswalk at the intersection of Portland Estates Boulevard and Portland Hills Drive just after 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31.

He died in hospital on Monday night.

Police have not laid charges against the 23-year-old male driver of the vehicle that hit Lee, and are looking to speak to anybody who might have witnessed the collision.
