HALIFAX – Halifax Regional Police arrested a 26-year old woman and a 23-year old man after a taxi driver was robbed at knife point on the 3300 block of Joseph Howe Drive at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
Police allege the two were in the cab when they pulled a knife on the 39-year old driver, and demanded money.

The driver received minor injuries in the incident, and was treated by EHS on scene.
The couple was arrested soon after at a nearby residence and they’re now facing several charges including assault with a weapon and robbery.
The two will appear in Halifax Provincial Court Tuesday morning.
