TORONTO – A naked man running through a Pittsburgh neighbourhood Monday night had to be rescued after being Tasered by police and falling down an embankment.
The man, who was wearing nothing but socks, was reportedly running through several yards, damaging property.
Several residents witnessed the bizarre incident.
“All I saw was a naked dude stand up in front of me,” Jacob Fitzpatrick told CBS. “He didn’t have any clothes on…I was like ‘Buddy, what are you doing, where are you from?'”
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, police Tasered the naked man after he refused to put on handcuffs.
“They Tasered him and he went down to the ground,” police Lt. Sean Frank told the newspaper. “He was on the ground, rolled under a car, and continued to roll.”
The man rolled down a steep hillside.
Firefighters were called to pull the man up from the embankment.
He is said to be in hospital in stable condition.
