Kate looks radiant in 1st public appearances since pregnancy announcement

The Duchess of Cambridge is back to her royal duties, making not one, but two public appearances in one day since the announcement in September that she and Prince William are expecting their second child this coming April.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed Singapore President Tony Tan on Tuesday, while fans tried to eye a baby bump. Kate is expected to be just past her first trimester, or approximately 13 weeks along.

Later that evening Kate looked radiant in a pale blue gown as she attended the Wildlife Photographer of The Year Awards ceremony.

On Monday, Kensington Palace confirmed the due date would be in April, the first time they’ve offered a month for a royal birth. And it’s no secret to royal watchers and fans, that the duchess had retreated from her royal duties until now due to severe morning sickness.

Until yesterday, there was speculation as to whether or not the duchess was carrying twins. Although this has not been confirmed nor denied, twins seem unlikely given the announcement stated the royal couple was expecting a “baby” and not “babies.”
