TORONTO – Three people aboard an Air Canada flight were injured Tuesday morning in New York when a beverage cart got loose and rolled into the aisle, according to a spokesperson for the airline.
The cart hit the passengers at approximately 10:45 a.m. as Flight 704 from Toronto was taxiing at LaGuardia Airport after landing.
Three passengers suffered minor injuries by the food cart. They have all been examined and released, an Air Canada spokesperson said in an email.
The flight left Pearson International Airport at 9:15 a.m. with 84 passengers on board and landed a few minutes before the incident.
The plane safely made it to the gate.
