City of Regina holiday schedule for Thanksgiving

REGINA – There are a number of building closures and holiday hours to keep in mind for Thanksgiving on Monday.

City Hall and all public libraries will be closed for the day.

The compost and landfill depots remain open. Garbage and recycling collection will continue as scheduled.

Transit won’t be running until Tuesday, with the exception of paratransit service, which will operate from noon until 10 p.m.

The majority of neighborhood centres will be closed, including the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre and the Art Gallery of Regina.

The North West Leisure Centre, Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre, and Regina Sportplex will be open.

If you’re heading downtown on the holiday, you won’t have to worry about plugging the meter as parking services are not in effect.
