TORONTO – No, seriously.
A horse walked into a British police station early Monday morning, surprising officers and security staff.
CCTV footage shows the animal strolling through the automated doors at Cheshire Police station.
A staff member is seen trying to discourage the horse from entering.
It was eventually escorted out of the building.
According to police, the animal broke loose from a nearby farm and made its way to the station.
Officers had a sense of humour about the incident.
“We like to ensure a warm welcome to all our guests at headquarters and at ‘neigh’ point did the horse pose a risk to security,” a police spokesperson said.
