Montreal police looking for armed bank robbery suspect

MONTREAL — Montreal police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with two armed robberies in the neighbourhood of Villeray.

Investigators from the major crime section are trying to identify and locate a man who allegedly committed two armed robberies at financial institutions over the summer.

They are looking for a 35-40-year-old, French-speaking white man, possibly of North African or Middle Eastern origin. He is described as being 6′ (1.83 metres) tall and weighs approximately 230 pounds (104 kg).

He has brown hair and was wearing sunglasses, a gray suit and shirt with a pale gray tie during the incidents.

Anyone who recognizes him is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
