Tropical Storm Edouard forms in Atlantic

TORONTO – The fifth named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season has formed and could strengthen into a hurricane by Monday.

Tropical Storm Edouard, which formed Thursday afternoon off the Cape Verde Islands, is moving northwest at 20 km/h. It is producing maximum sustained winds of 75 km/h with stronger gusts.
