KELOWNA, B.C. – A panel of National Hockey League scouts have chosen the best 10 junior hockey teams in the country and the list includes the fifth ranked WHL Kelowna Rockets.
The Canadian Hockey League released the pre-season edition of the BMO CHL Top-10 rankings for the 2014-15 season. The list includes four WHL clubs.
1. Rimouski Oceanic
2. Kingston Frontenacs
3. Brandon Wheat Kings
4. Quebec Remparts
5. Kelowna Rockets
6. Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds
7. Calgary Hitmen
8. Guelph Storm
9. Halifax Mooseheads
10. Portland Winterhawks
The Kelowna Rockets are in Vancouver Friday and then return home to host Victoria Saturday in their last pre-season game.
The regular 2014-15 season begins September 20th when the Rockets host Kamloops at Prospera Place.
