A man is in custody after reports of a possible hostage situation at a northwest hotel Saturday morning.
CPS was called to the hotel around 4:30 a.m. after reports a man had entered the building with a firearm.
The man allegedly entered a room where his ex-girlfriend was staying with another man.
The second male left the room and alerted police. Officers evacuated several surrounding hotel rooms as a precaution.
Police eventually used a bullhorn to contact the occupants inside the room, who eventually exited the building.
A man was taken into police custody and investigators say charges are pending.
The woman was unharmed and is now being interviewed by police.
Police can’t confirm whether a firearm was used, but are trying to obtain a search warrant for the hotel.
