HALIFAX – Police arrested a teenage boy who allegedly broke into a Dartmouth home on Monday night.
A woman on Acacia Street found the 17-year-old in her bathroom after being alerted by her dog’s barking.

She ran to a neighbour’s house before calling police.
The suspect fled, but officers tracked him to a nearby home on Mason Street and arrested him.
Police say they did not find any weapons, the incident was not violent and nothing was taken from the woman’s home.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
