Neighbours say actor-comedian Robin Williams never acted like a celebrity and often rode his bike and talked to fellow residents.
The 63-year-old was found dead in his San Francisco Bay area home Monday. A preliminary investigation suggests the Oscar winner died of asphyxiation in an apparent suicide.

Williams had been suffering from severe depression.
Williams’ Mrs. Doubtfire co-star Sally Field said: “He always lit up when he was able to make people laugh, and he made them laugh his whole life long — tirelessly.”
