It was a celebration of a century of care Tuesday for one of Manitoba’s oldest first aid and training organizations.
Staff, instructors and volunteers with the St. John Ambulance put on a casualty simulation inside the Manitoba Legislature, all part of their 100th anniversary in Manitoba.
The celebrations also included a flag–raising ceremony.
St. John Ambulance boasts the largest instructor base for an organization in Manitoba.
Last year, more than 100 certified teachers trained 25,000 Manitobans in life–saving techniques.
