Evacuation alerts lifted in south Okanagan

Fire and retardant lines seen from the air over the Apex Mountain wildfire

NEAR PENTICTON — Heavy rainfall has helped the fire fight in the south Okanagan, so much so now the evacuation alert for homes near the Jura and Apex Mountain fires has been lifted.
