TORONTO – Doug Ford’s not running re-election but Ward 2 residents can still vote for a Ford: Michael Ford is running for councillor.
Michael is Rob Ford’s nephew, the son of the mayor’s sister Kathy, and officially registered to replace Doug in Etobicoke’s Ward 2.
Ward 2 has been represented by either Doug or Rob Ford since the latter was first elected in 2000.
According to the 20-year-old’s Facebook page, he is working part-time at his family’s label business while studying business at Humber College.
He graduated from Richview Collegiate Institute, a high school in Etobicoke, in 2010.
