WINNIPEG – A Shellmouth woman is dead after she fell off a tractor and was hit by the brush cutter it was towing.

The 57-year-old was driving the open-cab tractor on a farm Thursday when she apparently fell off and was hit by the equipment, Prairie Mountain RCMP said Friday in a news release.

The woman was pronounced dead when police arrived at the rural municipality of Shellmouth farm just before 4 p.m.
