WINNIPEG- Traffic on going both ways on Kenaston Boulevard had to be redirected Wednesday night after a train slipped off a rail line that crosses the major city route.
It appears four cars derailed just east of Kenaston, from the line that runs parallel to Lindenwood Drive East.
Kenaston was closed Northbound at Lindenwood Dr E., and Southbound at Sterling Lyon Parkway for about an hour.
A front end loader was used to push the train further along the tracks and clear the blockage of Kenaston.
There were no injuries reported in the derailment and no hazardous material was involved in the derailment.
