It’s the Summer of Sandra.  The popular free AFF Outdoor Film Experience is back!  This year, the Atlantic Film Festival presents a series of films starring Oscar winning actress Sandra Bullock – along with many more films in many more communities.   At 6:45 Rose Zach of AFF gives us the details about the biggest outdoor film festival yet.

A local clothing boutique is transforming into a complete menswear shop just in time for Fathers Day. This weekend Makenew Curated Clothing will feature a plethora of second hand items plus a menswear collection from local designer Kate Rothschild. We get the fine details of mens fashion at 7:15.

At 7:45 we’ll learn more about ArtPreneur 2.0 – a unique collaboration from Youth Art Connection and CEED that pairs the creative talents of diverse youth with business skills. Ryan Veltmeyer, co-founder of YAC will join us along with an ArtPreneur participant.

It’s being billed as an electrifying, vocal extravaganza and it’s happening this weekend in Halifax! Ladies In Blues are celebrating their 15th anniversary with a big concert. At 8:15 we’ll chat with 2 of the Ladies In Blues and learn more about the history of this talented group of singers.

The show must go on.  A fire damaged the Park Place Theatre earlier this month in Point Pleasant Park, but the community is rallying to help Shakespeare By The Sea recover. At 8:45 Elizabeth Murphy and Jacob Sampson come in to give us the very latest details about the theatre company’s plans to move forward after the fire.
