VERNON — The Yorkton Terriers appeared to be a team of destiny at this year’s RBC Cup.

The team leaves Vernon with the national championship after a dramatic 4-3 overtime win over the Carleton Place Canadians.

Derek Falloon, a cousin of former NHL’er Pat Falloon, got the winner.

Yorkton came back from a 3-1 deficit with 2 goals in 8 seconds to force OT.

About 24-hundred fans saw the final at Kal Tire Place along with a national audience on TSN.
