Four injured in Saint-Denis bar fight
MONTREAL – Four people were stabbed with one person in critical, but stable condition after a brawl between two gangs early Monday morning.
At around 3:45 a.m., Montreal police were called to a bar on the corner of Saint-Denis street and Saint-Catherine street.
“The fight started in the bar between 20 people and continued outside,” said Constable Danny Richer of the Montreal Police.
The man who sustained the most serious injuries is a 19-year-old with a criminal record.
Four people were arrested after the fight, three men and one woman aged between 18 to 25 years old.
The suspects are all known to police.
Richer confirmed they are being uncooperative, but will stay in police custody.
