SASKATOON – Police are investigating a multiple vehicle collision that happened in Saskatoon’s Meadowgreen neighbourhood on Friday night.
Around 9:10 p.m., a westbound truck on 19th Street allegedly disobeyed a stop sign at Avenue W and was struck by a northbound car.
The truck then collided with two parked vehicles before the driver fled the scene.
As a result of the crash, the northbound car caught on fire and was extinguished by firefighters. The occupants were not injured.
It is believed that alcohol was a contributing factor of the collision.
Police are searching for the truck driver.
