Those are just two of the unusual culinary experiences awaiting those who walk the midway at the 2014 Calgary Stampede.

Officials say there are 32 new food options for patrons to try.
“This year, food vendors have stepped it up a notch, inventing some of the craziest and tastiest foods we’ve ever had,” says James Radke, midway operations manager. “There will be some fair classics making their first appearance and exciting new combinations to create the ultimate food experience for our visitors.”
The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth runs from July 4-13, 2014.

Chocolate Dipped Cookie Dough – On a Stick!

Turkey Dinner Poutine
The full turkey dinner- thick slices of turkey meat, mashed potatoes, cranberries, peas and delicious gravy all on a bed of poutine.
Thai Noodle Wrap
Choose from chicken, beef or vegetable protein, sautéed with a combination of fresh veggies and Thai style steamed noodles. When hot and ready, a sweet and savory Thai sauce is added and finished off with a garnish of crunchy bean sprouts and cilantro.
