SALT SPRINGS, N.S. – RCMP say a Nova Scotia woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle.
Police say the 48-year-old Limerock woman was struck Tuesday at an exit on Highway 104 near Salt Springs, about 24 kilometres west of New Glasgow.

They say she was walking on the eastbound shoulder of the road at the time.
She was taken to Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow.
The investigation is ongoing.
