Cooking Segment: Head chef and co-owner of Café Amore Bistro, Nick Crudo, whips up a delicious prawn pasta recipe.
Ingredients:
- Prawns
- Cream sauce
- Tomato sauce
- Butter
- Garlic
- Green onion
- Parsley
- Black pepper
- Sambucca
- Salt
- Chilli paste with fish broth house made
- Home made fresh pasta
Method:
- Prepare prawns by removing veins.
- Heat up frying pan and add spoonful of butter. Add chili paste and 1 or two cloves of garlic.
- Add prawns, green onion and pepper to taste.
- Add Sambucca and flame it
- Add tomato and cream sauce and heat for a few minutes to combine.
- Bring salted water to a boil
- Cook home made pasta
- Add pasta to pan and toss with your prawn and sauce mixture.
- Add parsley to garnish.
