MOOSE JAW – Police officers in Moose Jaw will begin carrying Tasers this weekend.
The Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) has recently completed officer training and the devices will be issued to officers beginning Friday, April 18.

As in other cities, any incident in which a Taser is deployed will be documented, reported to the media, and reviewed by the MJPS.
Officers in Regina began carrying Tasers in March. They have been deployed in Saskatoon since last December and since January in Prince Albert.
