This is a week that wine-lovers in Nova Scotia have had circled on their calendars for a long time. The New Nova 7 will be arriving in liquor stores across the province! At 6:45 we’ll get an exclusive taste of the newest selection being offered and we’ll meet the man behind the popular wine!

It’s estimated there are well over 8,000 people living with Parkinson’s Disease throughout the Maritimes.  At 7:15 we’ll talk with a doctor who will be speaking at a conference being held in Dartmouth this weekend called “The Parkinson’s Education and Awareness Conference”. Dr. Georg Robertson of Dalhousie University has done extensive research into the disease and has collaborated with numerous foundations including the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

At 7:45 Paul Brothers gets some tips from former Olympic Boxer and coach Wayne Gordon. He runs his own gym in Lower Sackville and trains up and coming boxers. He also showed Russell Crowe a few moves a few years back for his film “Cinderella Man”. This weekend Wayne is hosting a fundraising event at the Dartmouth Sportsplex that will feature several local up and coming boxers. You don’t want to miss this great television moment, as Paul gets some boxing tips from a couple of multiple champions!

Friend of the show Barb Stegmann drops by at 8:15 to talk about her recent trip to Rwanda. Stegmann is the CEO and founder of the “7 Virtues Beauty Inc” a fast growing Maritime business that uses fragrances as a means to rebuild struggling communities around the world.
