The team at The Morning News is really hoping the second week of April brings some spring-like weather to our region. But just in case, we’ve got a great show in store for Monday morning that will keep you company inside the comforts of your home.
Monday marks the beginning of National Volunteer week. At 645 Crystal will talk with two volunteers with Capital Health Authority to find out about their volunteer experience as well as how others can also get involved.
Paul Brothers will talk with Eleanor McCain and Matt Dusk at 7:15 about their Maritime Swing Tour. McCain is from New Brunswick and has a new album out that features well-known crooner Matt Dusk.
At 7:45 we’ll talk with moustache-cultivator and Movember spokesperson Jeff Lohnes. Originally from Nova Scotia, now living in Toronto, Jeff will be in town to reward top Movember fundraisers at Dalhousie University.
At 8:15 the new President for Kiwanis International will talk with Crystal about a new fundraising campaign to help pay for tetanus shots for infants in Africa.
And then at 8:45 Mark Flindall will drop by our studio to give us some highlights for this year’s ViewFinders: Atlantic Film Festival for Youth.
