At 6:45 Crystal will speak with Jayne Hunter from Literacy Nova Scotia. It’s hosting Adult Learners’ Week this week – and Crystal will find out how the campaign helps adults get back into the Education system to improve their math and literacy skills.

Reporter Maya Assouad will drop by at 7:15 to update us on the ongoing labour negotiations between the Capital Health Authority and Halifax nurses. Negotiations are back on again, and we’ll see if the new stand presented by the NSGEU on Monday will make any difference.

At 745, Leanne Salyzyn will be by for another “Dollars and Sense” segment. This week she’ll give us some tips on how to prepare your child to be financial responsible as an adult.

Then at 8:15 for our “Foodie Tuesday” segment, Jill will talk about the benefits of eating and buying grass-fed beef with producer Chris De Waal of Getaway Farms.

Then we’ll be casting off at 8:45 with Fisheries and Aquaculture Minister Keith Colwell..as fishing season gets underway across the province – despite the frigid temperatures.
