REGINA – A CP train carrying a hazardous chemical has come off the tracks near Mortlach, Saskatchewan after colliding with a semi-trailer.
But, RCMP say the two engines and all 32 rail cars stayed upright, and there’s no indication anything has spilled.

The train’s cargo includes anhydrous ammonia, which is both toxic and flammable.
The semi driver was taken to hospital in Moose Jaw, but his injuries are not life threatening.
The rail line is quite damaged. Crews are expected to be on scene throughout the night.
