The 13th annual Hike for Hospice takes place on Saturday, June 3rd with registration at 11 am at Confederation Park – Edgewater Pavilion. The annual Hike is a fun and friendly community event with local businesses and families taking part to raise funds for Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice.
The trail route is approximately 3 km. Suitable for all ages, the trail is paved and runs along the picturesque waterfront at Confederation Park. Four legged friends on leash are welcome participants too! Registration is $30 per participant with no registration fee for those 12 years and under. Each participant receives a Hike for Hospice t-shirt, a tasty BBQ lunch, and is eligible to win some great prizes: 1st place fundraiser, 2nd place fundraiser, top fundraiser under 12, top fundraising team, and most enthusiastic walker. In addition, there are planned children’s activities.
