On Friday, May 19th, 2017, Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice presents a one day workshop Good Grief – Exploring the Personal and Professional Impact of Working with Grief and Loss with leading experts Dr. Alan Wolfelt and Yvette Perreault from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 – p.m. at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Burlington.
Alan Wolfelt is an author, educator, grief counselor and Founder and Director of the Center for Loss and Life Transition. Yvette Perreault is the Director of the AIDS Bereavement and Resiliency Program of Ontario, and co-creator of Project Sustain.
The workshop runs from 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 19th at the Royal Botanical Gardens. The cost is $150 per person including registration, lunch and snacks. Participants will be inspired and gain an increased professional understanding of working in the presence of grief and loss, strategies to build capacity and resiliency, and awareness of how to access one’s own inner resources to support a sustained presence.
