Asked about Premier Doug Ford’s controversial comments accusing Ontario schools of “indoctrinating” students on issues of gender identity, Ontario Education Minister Stephen Lecce said it was the provincial government’s “moral imperative” to protect children in Ontario schools. Lecce added that he believes parents should be involved in their child’s education.
