Imagine using existing health data to predict what could and should happen to a patient in order to maximize their care. That is exactly what the health command centre at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal has been doing since the pandemic. The centre has proven to be so useful, it has helped reduce the average hospital stay time of patients by more than one day. Global News got a behind the scenes tour of the sophisticated facility that will be reproduced in other hospitals across Quebec.
