Quarter of a million visits made to Toronto-area food banks in August
Description
September 21, 2023
In August alone, more than 274,000 visits were made to 128 member organizations under Daily Bread Food Bank. The Toronto organization says the stark number is double the figures seen the same time last year. As Noor Ra’fat Ibrahim tells us, a large push is needed to keep families fed this thanksgiving.
