Canada’s House of Commons returned from summer recess on Monday, with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and opposition leader Pierre Poilievre challenging one another on housing affordability. “After this summer that these Liberals have had, even the prime minister must admit that he’s not worth the cost,” Poilievre said. “He panicked when he plummeted in the polls and reinforced recycled promises that he [had] broken six years earlier.”
