The family of U.S. journalist Evan Gershkovich said outside the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on Wednesday that they had appealed to the UN for help in their bid to get him freed in Russia, where he was detained in March on spying charges that carry up to 20 years in prison. "We are still in shock. Everyday is a day too long, I miss him everyday," said Gershkovich's mother, Ella Milman.
