Historic Ottawa Development advocates for renovating 24 Sussex over demolishing it

On Friday, President of Historic Ottawa Development Inc. Marc Denhez said that 24 Sussex, the official residence for Canadian prime ministers, is the “line in the sand” to tackle the practice of letting houses fall into disrepair until demolishment. Denhez added 24 Sussex is the best place to showcase how fixing up can sustain and improve Canada’s housing stock, starting with the “highest profile house in the country.”
