In Manitoba, the one-month countdown has begun to the provincial election. While the writ doesn’t drop until Tuesday, party leaders have been unofficially campaigning for weeks. The incumbent Premier Heather Stefanson will try to win a third government for the Progressive Conservatives. She faces stiff competition from the NDP’s Wab Kinew.
