The Toronto Transit Commission has apologized to an Etobicoke mother after the woman and her four year old were detained by the driver for about 35 minutes last week. The reason? The girl was sleeping in a stroller and the driver wanted a supervisor and police to see if the girl was safe. As Sean O’Shea reports, the TTC has admitted the bus detention wasn’t warranted.
