It was a turning point in Indigenous relations in Quebec and Canada: the Oka Crisis of 1990. Ellen Gabriel was a young Mohawk woman staring down police and army, defending her land. As Dan Spector reports, Gabriel has now turned to film to tell her story in her own voice.
