South Korea presses on with World Scout Jamboree as heat forces many to leave early

Meanwhile, as South Korea bakes under extreme heat thousands of teenagers from 170 countries – including Canada – have gathered for the 25th annual World Scouts Jamboree. It was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime but, for many, the scorching temperatures spoiled the adventure. Jamie Mauracher explains why officials chose not to cancel the event.
