Peru protests: Indigenous women and police clash in anti-government demonstrations

Protesters and police clashed in Peru’s capital Lima on Saturday, during a protest to demand President Dina Boularte’s resignation and new elections. Female indigenous protesters and police were seen pushing and hitting each other as tear gas canisters were kicked down the street.
